TOEFL - Test of English as a Foreign Language

Unlike IELTS, TOEFL is an American test, meaning it is American in origin and influence. The score scale is from 0 to 120. At American Universities, a minimum of 79 is pegged as the minimum for admissions in many graduate and undergraduate schools. The test is composed of Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening, with maximum 30 points each for each of these sections.
