Getting American Student Visa with ease

Generally American Visa interviews are dreaded. Be it the Engineer who wishes to get his H1B work visa stamped or the student who is petitioning for F1 Visa. When the stakes are high, the money that you have spent for applications, the dream of success that is in peril, the instinct to save one’s face, all these make the interview an ultimate event of your life. People get rejected, and this happens for a reason. The reason is they play it wrong. If you follow these steps, you should not have trouble getting your student Visa.

  1. Know your stuff

If you cannot say why you have opted a particular school and what research you are interested in, your intention to study appears false. We don’t say it is. But you are giving that impression. Learn about what you will study and why you study. Know about the research that happens at your school. To choose a school for a reason is to reject other schools for the same reason. So you should not have trouble defending your choice if you have this in mind.

2. Speak the truth

Lie is overrated and thought to achieve things it doesn’t. In fact, it gives an illusion of progress, when it merely creates the grounds for suspicion and regression. Don’t say what you are not, about your achievements or finance or family. It’s okay to say that your family worked hard to save up money for your funding. It’s okay to say that you failed few times in life, to be what you are now. It’s fine to say that you pursue this program to become a solid engineer, and not an entrepreneur, if this narrative represents you. Tell the truth. It is convincing and powerfully convinces.

3. Do not cram

To memorize your response is stupidity. For two reasons and we all know that. One, under pressure of the moment, you won’t remember all that you wish to say, and, over time, blurt out with little sense. Two, all that you say has the dress of artificiality. People wont’ trust, for you have memorized. Like the speaker who relies fully on notes loses his audience, the person who only speaks from memory in this interview ceases to be genuine. That’s the perception. Know what you should say, but how you get there be natural, not forced, not infinitely practiced, that you look more like a machine than a person. Let the discussion move organically from A to B, giving spontaneity a good chance. But remember the direction of your thoughts.

Do these. Getting an American student Visa should not be a problem.
